Christopher Bucklow Contextual Reference


Christopher Bucklow is a British photographer who has a full time career in fine art, he graduated in Leicester with an art history degree and afterwards he became a curator working in the prints and drawings department in the Victoria And Albert Museum in London. He is known for being a leading figure for camera less photography and with his work I have created my own dye destruction prints in the dark room.

Worldwide private collections and museums and the home to most of his works for example the Stony Street House in Frome.

However later in his career he moved onto paintings and from there a retrospective of his work, three of his framed paintings and then the accompanying books, is shown at Southampton City Art Gallery, his work includes Jungian ideas of self discovery and allegorical iconography.
