As I looked at Damon Baker's work that was linked to my development in terms of contrast, I shot a series of images in which I put the model in the same position so I could then experiment with contrasting both on my camera but also in post on photoshop afterwards. As for this set of images, I don't think they are perfect , but I was only shooting them in order to play around with contrast settings so it doesn't really bother me that much about how they aren't in focus or shaper images, I was able to use the knowledge I gained from taking these images, later in development.
