György Kepes Response Pieces/Development

With this series of prints, I was inspired by the work of Gyorgy Kepes. I prefer his technique because when combined with the negative prints, the print has a sense of depth that is enhanced. Having the added sense of depth really brings the image to life and makes it stand out, so I particularly like these. In addition, I also exposed my paper to light with the box covering it first, which resulted in the box's front being printed on the paper when I developed my prints, which i really like because it adds an element of the physical world to the image.
